What the public application uses
Amalgafy’s public application does not set sign-in, analytics, or advertising cookies. It does use browser storage, which is separate from cookies. The current stored values support language detection and error recovery; they are not advertising identifiers.
amalgafy_language— local storage- Stores a detected or previously selected language code. It is read and saved when the application initializes, even though the current MER public copy is in English. The application sets no expiry; it remains until replaced or cleared in your browser.
i18next.translate.boo— temporary local storage check- The language library briefly writes and removes this value to check whether browser storage is available. It is not kept as a visitor identifier.
amalgafy_error_reload_countandamalgafy_error_reload_window_start— session storage- Written when the error screen’s reload control is used, to limit repeated reloads within a one-minute window. They remain in the page session until cleared; the one-minute window controls the counter logic, not automatic deletion of these keys.
Form entries and animation pause or pointer state are not saved by the application to cookies or browser storage. Your browser may separately remember form values through autofill, and your email app may save a draft prepared by the early-access form.
External resources
Google Fonts supplies fonts, and Iconify supplies homepage partner logos. Loading them makes requests to those providers, including technical information such as your IP address and browser headers, independently of browser storage. Their practices are described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Iconify’s Privacy Policy. Iconify notes that its delivery infrastructure may use cookies for performance.
Your controls
You can inspect, block, or clear cookies and site storage using your browser settings. Clearing storage removes the saved language and recovery values; the application may recreate them on a later visit or reload action. Blocking external resources may change font rendering or prevent partner logos from loading. Browser settings also control whether third-party cookies are accepted.
This notice may be updated as the site changes. For information about inquiries and your privacy choices, see the Privacy Policy, or contact support@amalgafy.com.
